A Piece of Mine Puzzles Collaboration

I had the privilege of collaborating with A Piece of Mine Puzzles who commissioned an artwork for their debut collection, Ordinary Days, a celebration of the quiet, reflective moments in our every day life that often go unnoticed. Slow Mornings, was a result of a month of brainstorming and alignment to craft an illustration to be turned into a beautiful 1000-piece puzzle that aims to be a respite for those looking to slow down.

Slow Mornings is inspired by the quiet stillness of early mornings — when the world feels soft before the city begins to wake from its slumber. Most of us in the city spend our mornings in a frantic rush. To get work, school, sometimes even just a constantly losing battle with our alarm’s snooze!

But I’ve had my happy shares of unhurried mornings before, they are few and rare, and this illustration served as a reminder that a peace like this will always be there should we choose to look for it.
